flower power
Cast and oxidized sterling silver arnica flower drop earrings with 7mm round, natural white zircon, and 18karat gold ear wires.
1 1/4" from top to bottom.
A few examples of arnica sepals are pictured. When arnica grows in the shade, or a flower on the plant gets a late start, the petals of the emerging flowers do not fully emerge. Instead, growth occurs in the sepals, which, become increasingly elaborate, and come to resemble flowers themselves. You can see the tiny emerging petals in the earring center, pushed over the stones. More on arnica sepals with yellow arnica flower image, listed on this page.
Simple. Elegant. Versatile.
Flowers all year.
White Zircon is sold but I have just recently created a pair in Rhodolite garnet, one pair in peridot and one pair with lab grown pink sapphires. Please inquire or visit me during the upcoming Second Saturdays open studios in the California Building, on June 8th to see them!
