Ethnicity and age is reflected on the face, but  experience reads also -  joy, sadness, dreaming, thinking - there are subtle markers on the face that, as we age, reveal more and more what territory we may have been through, or that we, now, live in.
I found this image of a Japanese man  in a magazine. I was mesmerized by his sweet smile, and tried to create an homage to the deep long happiness that I saw there.
